Attend a Squad Training

Are you interested in attending a training event to learn more about CPDS's research goals and methods with fellow Squad members? Join us for our first-ever volunteer training session!

When: Saturday, May 26th, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Where: Paul Derda Recreation Center

(13201 Lowell Blvd., Broomfield, CO 80020)

Experience urban conservation science first-hand as a Colorado Prairie Dog Squad Citizen Scientist. Learn how you can help in the management and protection of Colorado's prairies for future generations by collecting scientific data through iNaturalist, or even engaging your own classroom, club, or scout troop in local citizen science.

Citizen Scientist volunteers will experience hands-on activities to learn about prairie dog ecology, management, and research. Trainees will also get to practice collecting data through iNaturalist for the Squad on a real prairie dog town.

This training event is FREE to attend, but registration is required. No experience necessary. Children age 10 and up are permitted with adult supervision.

Spots are limited! Register today with this Google Form.
